WHAT HAS HAPPENED AFTER DANIEL AND THE LAST TIME SECTION The issuing of this decree did happen by Persian King Darius II or Ahasuerus in March 14, 445AD. "Seven weeks" later or 49 years later, the city was rebuilt, and then "62 weeks" or 434 years later (totaling 69 weeks or 483 years later) Israel rejected their Messiah--Christ, "cutting the Messiah off and have nothing." DANIEL 9:26)
IN THE YEAR 58AD, THE APOSTLE PAUL WROTE ROMANS 11:
At Jesus Christ's trial, the Jews cried out, "His blood be on us and on our children,..." (Matt. 27:25).
Less than 30 years, again, Jerusalem was destroyed and the Temple was utterly destroyed. This time Israel ceased to exist as a nation. This time, for close to 2,000 years the Jewish people have indeed suffered, but amazingly, this people still existed as a people without a nation. Few peoples have had enemy's with such determination to destroy them, within only few years, killing close to 7,000,000 victims, and yet they continued to exist. Not only existing, but becoming a sovereign nation. Only during the generation of the mid-20th Century (1948) have they become a nation, and Jerusalem's recognition as the Jewish capitol, within the beginning of the 21st Century.(2017) The Temple is yet to be rebuilt
The people of this Prince--"the Prince who is to
come," will"destroy Jerusalem and the sanctuary (Temple)
The people of that "Prince who is to
come" --
the Romans, did destroy Jerusalem
and the
Temple in 70AD.
The the prophetic clock stopped for Jerusalem,
AND A MAJOR GAP APPEARED IN THE TIME-CHRONOLOGY FOR JERUSALEM.
This left 1 week or 7 years with Israel for jerusalem. The "Prince who is to come," will "make a firm covenant" with Israel. (see my blog on "firm covenant),
"The prince who is to come", in Daniel 9:26, I BELIEVE IS THE PERSON RIDING THE WHITE HORSE IN REVELATIONS. Revelations gives him another week or seven (7 )years.

The "wild olive-branches" are the gentile believers or the Christian Church.
