THE COMING PRINCE OF DANIEL 9

THE BIBLE SPEAKS OF A COMING PRINCE 

IN THE PAST

What has happened for Daniel in 536BC; Jerusalem and the Temple is yet to be restored (not in Daniel's lifeetime, but, after the  7 weeks and the 62 weeks".  Remember there is 7 weeks and 62 weeks. Then "after 62 weeks (the last portion) the Messiah will be cut off" there is 441 prophetic years (360 da. yrs) to the day Jesus Christ walked  on the day of triumphant into Jerusalem. That , accounts for 69 weeks of years,

WHAT HAPPENS NOW? 

JERUSALEM IN 2018, NOW IS THE RECOGNIZED CAPITAL OF ISRAEL, by  the dominenet world power government, the U.S.A..l

LOGICALLY THESE THINGS SHOULD HAPPEN:

ISRAEL'S TEMPLE MUST BE BUILT 
AND 
THIS "PRINCE WHO IS TO COME " MUST APPEAR.

WHO IS THIS PRINCE?

	DANIEL 9:
26	After the sixty-two weeks .... and the people of the prince who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end of it shall be with a flood, and even to the end shall be war; desolations are determined.
27	He shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease; and on the wing of abominations [shall come] one who makes desolate; and even to the full end, and that determined, shall [wrath] be poured out on the desolate The coming prince ("the prince who shall come....")  shall sign a defence pact (contract) with Jerusalem for 7 years  ("...He shall make a firm covenant with many for one week.")          The significance, to the Gentile world, of this coming Prince (this is the Jewish Messiah) comes from a number of mentioned facts in this prophecy.           Remember this prophecy was given to sometime in 246-222 BC.(see linking page 1 to clarify dates).  The Jewish Temple in Jerusalem had been destroyed.          So the prophecy was written over 200 years before Christ. At which time (the time of Jesus Christ) that Herod the Great (the one who murdered all the children in Bethlehem) had rebuilt a new very large temple (see Daniel 9 linking page 2) Three and one/half years this prince will enter the temple to replace the normal sacrifice and drink-offering with an abomination that desolates.  (in the midst of the week of years he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease; and on the wing of abominations [shall come] one who makes desolate;") This prince who is to come,  I BELIEVE THE PERSON RIDING THE WHITE HORSE IN REVELATIONS IS THIS COMING PRINCCE.   There is a significant identity association in this passage of Revelation, which is also in the book of Daniel .  Daniel is written in two languages. In the first part of Daniel (2:4-7:28 ) which is written in Aramic, a statue is presented which is to be worshipped.  Later in the Hebrew part (from 8:1)a very similiar individual--world-status person  is presented. Daniel 9 pictures Daniel, still a a prisoner in Babylon, praying for the Jews return to Jerusalem. God's answer was a timeline into sections of 70 weeks of years. The 69th week ends with the "Messiah" being "being cut off and having nothing" (9:26)      Revelations gives him other identifying appearances.   He will start "a war against tne saints."           He will "overcome the saints".         "All the earth will (with the exception of Christian believers) worship   him."  666 is a number associated with him.
