MY FLOCK
EZEKIEL, A JEWISH PRIEST WAS EXILEDTO BABYLON BETWEEN THE FIRST AND SECOND DEPORTATIONS. Ezekial's visions and the writing of his prophecies happened in a similar circumstances as Daniel and John the Apostle's in the sense of happening outside of the blessed land, Israel.
All of the three writers,:
Ezekiel, Daniel, and John the Apostle would have have
witnessed or known first-hand the destruction of Jerusalem and Israel.
Yet all of them speak of the restoration of these locations, and
John the Apostle's writings happened close to 600 years later than the other
two.
The importance of Ezekiel's to this study is that
it gives a graphic glimpse of God's view of Israel during these
last final days.
EZEKIEL 37:
11 Then He said into me, Son of man
(Ezekiel), these bones are the whole house of Israel; behold they say,
Our bones are dried, and our hope is cut off on our part:
12 Therefore, prophesy and say
unto them, thus saith the Lord God behold O my people, I will open your
graves, and bring you to the land of Israel.

This estasblishes Israel in the context of
EZEK. 37 and who the dried bleached bones are. Today, after two
millenium of being scattered, having no significance, being dried bleached
bones, suddenly Israel becomes alive and becomes very significant in the
world.
